As a result of some customers having inquired as to whether we have an email newsletter advising them when new products or special offers are available, in early 2007 we intend to introduce an Email Newsletter with the prime purpose of keeping our broad 'family' of customers informed as to what is happening here at Annabel Chaffer. As part of the proposed Newsletter, we shall make customers aware of new product releases, improvements, alterations, as well as any offers or clearouts.
This Newsletter will not include any Special Offers or Exclusive Offers, as those offers will be reserved for our loyal customer base who decide to provide us with feedback, refer friends and family to the Annabel Chaffer Collection and regularly make purchases from Annabel Chaffer. The first stage towards qualifying to become a 'loyal customer' are automatically sent out to each customer shortly after they buy some product(s) from Annabel Chaffer (above a de minimis limit) and it is then up to each customer to decide whether they wish to follow through and become a fully qualified 'Loyal Customer' with all the benefits that will then ensue from that status.
There will be no cost to achieve 'Loyal Customer' status, as membership will be by invitation from Annabel Chaffer and be based upon the actions of customers who clearly demonstrate their appreciation of quality upscale gifts and accessories. We intend to ensure that those who achieve this status are fully rewarded over the years by the exclusive offers and benefits that are made available to them.
Also in early 2007, we plan to make available some RSS feeds so that both existing and potential new customers can be kept up-to-date with any news, changes or offers that take place at Annabel Chaffer.
We have understood over the years that there are many customers who seek out general product advice from our Experts and are quite happy that these queries and the advice given should be made available for the benefit of other customers. The best way that this information can be made available to all our existing and prospective customers is for us to introduce a set of Customer Forums. This we propose doing in the early part of 2007. These forum discussions will be made available by RSS feeds.
Because of this demand and rather than the ad hoc structure that currently pertains, we plan to introduce a freely available but fully structured service whereby customers may pose questions to our panel of Experts in the main fields in which we have the expertise. These fields include the primary topics of Sterling Silver, Leather, Pewter, Brass, but also certain other specific areas that are related to products within the Annabel Chaffer Collection.
For obvious reasons, our panel will not be able to answer questions relating to products bought from other sources, on antiques, or on unrelated topic areas.
These Forums will also provide the means for our customers to seek out advice from other fellow customers as to what they thought of any particular product(s) bought from the Annabel Chaffer Collection, how they found using those products, quality issues, etc. These forums will also provide the means by which customers may express any other useful exchange of views. The Editor of the Forums will respond to any points where required, or ask one of his colleagues with more direct expertise to provide the relevant answers.
For obvious reasons, the Forums will be moderated by one or more members of the Annabel Chaffer staff to ensure that queries and other discussions are specifically related to Annabel Chaffer products, and are not relating to products supplied by other businesses over which we have no control. Also for anti-spam reasons, we shall need to ensure that moderators keeps a watching brief over the forum threads to ensure that the Forums are not being abused by outside parties for their own purposes.
