Order Confirmation
Shortly after placing an Order with the Annabel Chaffer Collection, you will receive an Order Confirmation setting out full details of the products that you have ordered, the choice of color and/or size, the quantity of each item ordered, as well as the prices of each item, shown line-by-line. We would suggest that you keep this Order Confirmation carefully at least until you have received the products ordered.
Order Number
In the Order Confirmation, you will find the Order Number unique to your specific Order placed with theAnnabel Chaffer Collection. In all communications with Annabel Chaffer, please ensure that you quote this number, so that we are able to assist you with any queries you may have.
Changes to Your Order
Once an Order have been submitted, we are sorry that we are unable to change any part of your Order. This is because your Order will have been passed already through to our payment processor and through various security and anti-fraud checks.
Our fast order processing has been established for our customers benefit, so that we can provide speedy fulfillment and maintain the standard of service expected of Annabel Chaffer.
Back Orders
Whilst we maintain large stocks of most products in our three warehouses, we are constantly making further stock of items in our workshops (as well as with outside workshops with whom we contract), but on occasions certain products will run out prior to further stock coming over from the workshops. On these occasions, in the normal course of events the products will be back in stock within a matter of days.
With the best will in the world and wishing to maintain sufficient levels of stock products at all times, the Annabel Chaffer Collection is subjected to market forces, where certain raw materials can be out of stock with our suppliers. This can be for a number of reasons all of which are obviously outside our control, the most common of which are raw material demands running in excessive of more normal levels. In addition, seasonal factors can come into play, where certain skins for making into our leather products are not available because of world restrictions, supply fluctuations.
Back Orders are normally dispatched within days of the order being received by us, but where any out-of-the-ordinary delay is likely to be experienced, we shall contact you and inform you of the anticipated dispatch date. However, such delays are rarely an issue, as customers can look forward to receiving their goods custom made for them by established craftsmen and craftswomen, most of whom have gone through long apprenticeships often learning their trade from their fathers, and in turn from their forefathers.
Track Your Order (Order History)
Shortly after receiving your Order Confirmation, you will receive a further email notifying you as to how you may Track Your Order, at the same time supplying a specific password to enable you to access the relevant data on your current Order, but also any past Orders placed at an earlier date with Annabel Chaffer.
To check on the status of your current Order, or to view all your previous Orders, click on Track Your Order on any page of our website and simply complete the relevant box remembering to provide your password in each case.
As we have so many couples that shop with the Annabel Chaffer Collection, a password is used so that spouses or partners may have separate accounts with us, to ensure that one party does not have the opportunity to have a 'sneak preview' of the gifts being bought by the other party!
In addition, this facility provides a suitable degree of confidentiality for all other customers.
Genuine Customer Reviews
Customer Reviews on all products are important for two main reasons. Firstly, to help other potential customers to choose suitable products and read what other customers have to say about the selected products, but secondly to enable Annabel Chaffer to obtain customer feedback with the aim of maintaining their existing high standards, but to monitor where improvements might be made to designs and standards of making. With this in mind, having placed an Order with Annabel Chaffer, shortly after the products are dispatched to you, you will receive a short email seeking your views on the product(s) ordered, requesting a rating on the product(s), as well as on Customer Services, etc.
Annabel Chaffer appreciates the trouble taken by our customers spending a few moments giving their own unbiased views and ratings (regardless of whether the reviews are favorable or not). Consequently, in order to show our appreciation of the trouble taken we will ensure that the names of all customers responding are entered into a regular draw for coupon savings.
As is the case in so many other instances, these draws do not simply take the form of a single monthly drawing where the chance of winning is very low, but take the form of daily draws with fewer participants, thus increasing the likelihood of a customer winning a valuable coupon.
Phony Reviews Barred
Please note that unlike so many other websites, we do not permit members of the public to simply rate and comment on products as part of our Customer Review process, without having first bought the product(s) concerned. To allow such action we believe would simply make a mockery of the process of seeking genuine Customer Reviews. Too many websites currently display what are blatantly phony reviews that simply devalue every word written, not to mention the ratings supplied.
